Equality is a myth. People are different with a varying set of skills. Small businesses may thrive, because that's all that can thrive. People are not able to do as they wish, because they all have to pay for other people. The problem with socialism is that you always run out of other people's money. A country that has citizen paying their OWN way, is a country that will truly thrive, with freedoms. And if you are trying to say every company in America should have 50 or less employees, that is severely naive. The two countries are not even close in scale or production.

Socialism has never worked. Time and time again, countries have been run into the ground due to socialism and likewise ideas. Rather than bringing about prosperity, it brings unemployment, creates more poor people, creates a country with no rights or privileges. Socialism is a system that makes everyone part of a shared misery.

Again, all you have provided is emotionally charged insults and patronizing comments.

Just because a large number of people claim to think an idea is correct does not make it so. Hawking may be smart, but so was Einstein, who thought Socialism was the only way to run a thriving country. Just because a person is smart in some areas does not mean he is correct in all areas.

England has a chance to rebuild itself, regain control of a proper immigration policy, and have the ability of becoming a strong nation once more.
