Was Orwell right when he wrote about Eurasia in his 1984 novel?

For those who have not read the book, Eurasia was one of the three superpowers, formed by continental Europe ( not Britain) and Russia.

I think he had some kind of knowledge of the ideas that the one-world government creators were planning.

Even though it's creepy to hear it then see it moving into place ...but ... It has always been mans want to rule the world. I think Orwell just made it very vivid for us.

Cierzo: I've known about it since the late 60's & talk about it and people would think it was a conspiracy nut thing, I believe they were in denial.
