Was Orwell right when he wrote about Eurasia in his 1984 novel?

@Cherokeepatti: I am gladly surprised to hear more and more people talking about world government or new world order. Maybe people are finally starting to awake?

I think he had some kind of knowledge of the ideas that the one-world government creators were planning.

Even though it's creepy to hear it then see it moving into place ...but ... It has always been mans want to rule the world. I think Orwell just made it very vivid for us.

Cierzo: I've known about it since the late 60's & talk about it and people would think it was a conspiracy nut thing, I believe they were in denial.
