Has Trump damaged America's psyche?

He certainly has traumatized mine.

The ones who voted for him are already damaged goods. They will even get worse with all the cuts in healthcare.

The rest are seeing the truth for what it is and mentioning the I word here and there............

@Underconstruction: Hillary and Trump were two sides of the same corporate party. The difference is just he's even more erratic and doesn't know shit. She's more consistently malevolent. Nice choice.
@manlybeardman: How was she malevolent, exactly ? No one seems to have any real proof of that. Emails and a personal server ? Colin Powell, Condoleeza Rice and Mike Pence (as governor) used them, too. Benghazi ? She had similar intel to what came through before 9/11. She's blamed for 4 lives, yet no one seriously blamed George W. for almost 3000. Everything else is rumor and innuendo---and now we can't even be sure it wasn't based on something planted by the Russians. And in their case we know Trump invited them to hack his political opponent's emails, because he was taped saying so.

@bijouxbroussard: LOL. A few reasons 1) Iraq war yes vote. 2) two-faced on almost every issue 3) enabled a rapist husband for years 4) super creepy support for partial birth abortion. List goes on. Fuck off with the Russia stuff. Vault 7 revelations showed US intel can easily fake any fingerprints on hacks.
@manlybeardman: And how is this relevant to the question ? Get on with the program. It´s Trump´s America now. And yes, he´s tried to damage it a great deal and will even cause more harm if he is not stopped.

@Underconstruction: Read the thread. She asked how Clinton was malevolent in my view. Yeah you definitely sound woke (sarcasm). The issues of modern life go far deeper than Trump, but you keep believing in your binary worldview.
@manlybeardman: I started this thread by answering the OP the question she posted on Trump. If had wanted to talk about something different , I would´ve gone somewehre else. !!! You definitely sound neither bright, nor awake ( true fact, not sarcasm).
manlybeardman · 36-40, M
@Underconstruction: You sound like a pretentious bitch.
manlybeardman · 36-40, M
@Underconstruction: Trying to steer exactly how the thread goes? Yeah good luck with that you imbecile. I'm not bright...lol. I speak EIGHT languages and have two masters degrees. But yeah sure pal. You do you, ma'am. (Fucking idiot)
1)Everyone except Rep Barbara Lee (D-Berkeley) voted to give Dubya a free hand regarding Iraq in the aftermath of 9/11. Lee was vilified and even received death threats for her lone "no" vote. I'm still proud of her, but I remember the times. 2) what does that even mean ? You must trust everyone else in politics, I'm guessing ? 🤔
3)And do you hold all women responsible for their husbands' behavior ? Where are you, some misogynist Middle Eastern country ? 4) That's a lie straight from the anti-choice lunatics; partial birth abortion is illegal in most of the U.S., because at the point when the child is viable doctors can deliver and incubate it. The "list" of lies has no merit. Rumor and innuendo by people who were no more ready for a female president than they were a black one. Obama's presidency brought out all the anti-black racists. Hillary brought out all the misogynists---from both genders. How willing were people to believe that crap, with no proof ? And yet they ignore what's right in front of their faces about Trump and make excuses for him. Outrageous.
@manlybeardman: Awww, an easily triggered snowflake 🤗

Give your blood pressure a break and go to sleep.
manlybeardman · 36-40, M
@Underconstruction: You're beneath me to argue with and the only point you're attempting to make (force) could be read off a corporate script. Utterly boring and vapid pseudo-intellectualism. Lol gladly. I won't be discussing with you any further because you have nothing to contribute.
manlybeardman · 36-40, M
@bijouxbroussard: I'm not excusing or backtracking to you. Your kind are far too arrogant to be reasoned with. If you think Clinton isn't malevolent you are an abject fool. I never made excuses for Trump stop putting words in my mouth.

@manlybeardman: My "kind" ?
manlybeardman · 36-40, M
@bijouxbroussard: Arrogant, centrist white liberals. You all don't seem to get you're literally propping up the exact system you claim to oppose or want to improve.
manlybeardman · 36-40, M
@bijouxbroussard: And you always assume your views and paradigms are normative. They're not. Your starting basis of secular humanism is inherently flawed. Take a big step back and reevaluate everything. I'm not here to give you a list of why Clinton's malign, you've clearly got a lot more learning to do than just that.
@bijouxbroussard: : Dear bb , .........Have you noticed that any woman who has a different view from "manlybeardman" gets labeled as arrogant, fool, bitch, idiot, imbecile, etc, etc despite said "manly" beardman claiming to have an education that supposedly would allow him to debate intelligently, using adult people words and not the arguments of a cranky and not very smart teenager ?

Maybe he is one of the damaged goods I mentioned when I started this thread.

The proof is in all his responses, S.O.P. from graduates of Trump University 😄

Oh, the sadness.
manlybeardman · 36-40, M
@Underconstruction: Haha. Maybe I'm not bringing my "A" game to this site did you consider that? Maybe this site is beneath me and I'm trolling it not taking it seriously like sad-ass people like you. Have you considered that Ms. Importance-of-Being-Earnest?"

And incidentally, yeah I call any centrist idiot liberal that not just woman you dumb victim-card-pulling fool.
@manlybeardman: Well, you know what they say about assuming. I'm guessing you think all women whose opinions differ from yours are "arrogant", so that's a non-starter.
I admit to being a liberal: I support bodily autonomy and reproductive choices for women, marriage equality, labor unions, access to affordable healthcare and education, help for those in need, in the ideas of FDR: hand up, not handout. I'm not white, however (neither is my avatar, in case you were fooled, that's the late Lena Horne, a singer, actress and civil rights activist).

@manlybeardman: From your post, you seem to need reprogramming. Too much FOX "news". (More like FOX propaganda). Expand your horizons. You may just learn how defective your belief system is. And don't belittle those with superior intellects, such as BB. She could have you for lunch if she gave a damn what you thought.
@manlybeardman: I shall not interrupt in your political argument but Please knock it off with insulting ... You really seem to not know what you are talking about... You cannot disrespect people who disagree with you. That would make you look bad in your arguments.
