Do you find Trump's loutish behaviour embarrassing or something to be admired ?

I'm no fan of the EU actually but just think the alternative is worse. Some people voted to leave for understandable reasons but what will actually happen is a Tory hard-Brexit with a recession and further cuts to services and workers rights.

@firefall: I am not sure it would have been that different. As London mayor Boris just made jovial quips whilst his team actually ran the city. He is a great communicator but is at least somewhat aware of his limitations. I fear that May isn't. See the Juncker dinner for that.

@firefall: I guess he is the closest we have to a Trump. A very British public school cad who is posh and funny. Its partly affected of course and hides his nasty right wing politics. He is a rogue disguised as a likable rogue.

He is also cynical opportunist. I fully believe that he was using the Brexit campaign to be PM and never wanted (or expected) to actually win.
