I'd be against the electoral college if Hillary had won too.

I'm not bitter about the results. I'm opposed to swing state privilege.

Florida shouldn't get a greater say just because it's a battle ground. Nor should Ohio or any of them. I want every vote equal.

Besides when you make it about the urban vs rural divide you're basically saying that A Farmer should have a greater say than Urbanized doctors in the big cities because why? You're basically saying the less informed should have a greater say just because.

Candidates for office employ a strategy of campaigning in the battle grounds while ignoring the states they're either hopelessly behind or far ahead in. Hillary Clinton ignored Oregon just as much as trump did.

It's about the way candidates actually campaign in the real world. I want to change the way campaigns are run. http://www.nationalpopularvote.com/campaign-events-2016

Two-thirds of Presidential Campaign Is in Just 6 States.

Actually, rural farmers should have more of a say because they're ordinary Americans who live in the real world and understand common sense. Ivory league liberals only understand academic bullcrap that doesn't apply to the real world. The Founding Fathers understood that when they designed the electoral college.
@USAalltheway: Bullshit. The framers were defending slavery. Madison even said it pretty much outright. He pointed out that the Free states would have too much power over the slave states and so the slave states wouldn't go for it.

@USAalltheway: lol. Nah. The Founding Fathers were elitists. Only property owners were allowed to vote. They would find your statement hilarious. Btw, you obviously have very little education. Ivory league indeed... (rolls eyes) I guess that is why those damn schools keep putting out people who run businesses, invent meds, send people to the moon, and work as doctors and engineers. Useless liberals...
USAalltheway · 31-35, M
@Laifu1: So you think liberals really sent people to the moon. And you think I'm the one with very little education?

there's no point for democracy when ignorance is celebrated
political scientists get the same one vote as some Arkansas inbred
majority rule, don't work in mental institutions
sometimes the smallest softest voice carries the grand biggest solutions

Sometimes the ivory league liberals just need to shut up.
what are we left with?
a nation of god-fearing pregnant nationalists
who feel it's their duty to populate the homeland
pass on traditions
how to get ahead religions
And prosperity via simpleton culture

@USAalltheway: ??? Is this a conspiracy theory thing?
SW-User
@USAalltheway: omfg. JUST STOP. IVY LEAGUE. IVORY TOWERS. Since you haven't been near a university in your life, how the fuck would you know what they do or think?
USAalltheway · 31-35, M
Typical liberal. Whenever you want to deny something you just call it a "conspiracy theory".
USAalltheway · 31-35, M
All ordinary Americans know that universities are bullcrap.

@USAalltheway: ummm? I wasn't sure what you are talking about. You could have been saying scientists are all concervative. And nah. I call it a conspiracy theory BECAUSE IT IS... I know people who work in the space program. That is a level of stupidity that can't be reasoned with. Is there mind control in vaccines or radio waves too?
@Laifu1: God I've never wanted to be in college more than right now. This guy makes me salivate over being indoctrinated by "liberal professors." I can't wait to go. I'm in the process of applying to Portland community. I can't wait to be in that "Academic bubble" he disparages so much.
@Laifu1: Only 6 percent of scientist are republicans. Ever wonder why? I don't.

@hiddeninahollowsound: Lmao. I have to say that he is rapidly becoming the most ignorant person I have ever seen on SW. And I am including the Hitler apologist is that list.

@USAalltheway: Please provide the definition of ordinary for the purposes of this response, along with any evidence pertaining to your unsubstantiated claim. And ALL??? The statistical possibility of your claim being accurate is 0.
USAalltheway · 31-35, M
@hiddeninahollowsound: It's because Republicans prefer the real world over science.
@USAalltheway: Science = Objective reality. "Real world." Science is empirical that way. Republicans deny Reality. They deny global warming and evolution both of which are fact. FACT: Global warming is caused by human activity. CO2 is a Greenhouse gas.

You can deny that until your face turns blue but Will power is irrelevant.

So much for Republicans preferring the "Real world" over Science. Science IS the real world, you idiot.

When was the last time you ever used science in the real world? Never, because it doesn't apply.
