Donald Trump messed up. We're all very surprised.

I don't think that Trump actually has ties to Russia, or that he fired Comey for any reason other than missing his job on The Apprentice. I just think that he's so masterful at messing up, he'll be able to convince the world that all the scandals are real.

I, for one, hope he goes down in flames. And judging by his approval ratings, the majority of Americans agree with me.

Of course, there is a small possibility that he does have nefarious motives, and he's just piss poor at covering them up. That would be far worse, but arguably much funnier too. Like a little kid with chocolate all over their mouth saying they didn't eat the chocolate.

However, I do agree with Trump on one thing: "We can't have someone in the Oval Office who doesn't understand the meaning of the word 'Confidential' or 'Classified'" - Donald Trump, 6th September 2016

Well said, Donnie.

I'm against terrorists. Even the ones with microphones that try saying I should be afraid of my own president.

@Noahkahol: The president is chosen by the people. The people are definitely not beyond believing scary bullshit if it has sufficiently enticing rhetoric above it.

Those people with microphones are (admittedly biased, but that's why you look at a range of sources) people who are employed to research the things you don't have time to research.

At the end of the day, you can claim that the media is lying all you want, but Trump essentially admitted to giving Russia the information on his twitter feed.

Terrorism is a minor threat that gets overblown. And in reality, nobody actually wants terrorism. Which president gets elected has basically no impact on the safety of the country terrorism-wise (Maybe you remember that a Republican was in the White House during 9/11). You'd be better off fixing your royally fucked healthcare and education systems, (Our radically underfunded National Health Service is still more effective than your ludicrously expensive healthcare in the US), than worrying about terrorist threats that will probably never happen. A life lived in fear of Terrorism is a life wasted.

@RoboChloe: Government involvement in any business suppresses discoveries, operates at minimum efficiency and tells itself it's the best.

But it never is. The government can wreck entire business categories just by sticking their hands into it, politicizing it, then blaming everything they can think up.

Not one major breakthrough in any socialized medicine country, either in tech, increases of speed of people getting medical attention, or even a single one that didn't devolve into a damn political debate and budget complaint.

Not one mass transportation system, mass media system, educational system, or any other thing done by government turned a profit or improved.

Save the socialist bs for the other peasants. I'm not buying it.

@Noahkahol: At this point, I should expect to be faced with a wall of "alternative facts" whenever I talk to a Trump supporter. Oh well, there's nothing I can do if you truly believe all that.

Have a nice day.
