Donald Trump messed up. We're all very surprised.

I don't think that Trump actually has ties to Russia, or that he fired Comey for any reason other than missing his job on The Apprentice. I just think that he's so masterful at messing up, he'll be able to convince the world that all the scandals are real.

I, for one, hope he goes down in flames. And judging by his approval ratings, the majority of Americans agree with me.

Of course, there is a small possibility that he does have nefarious motives, and he's just piss poor at covering them up. That would be far worse, but arguably much funnier too. Like a little kid with chocolate all over their mouth saying they didn't eat the chocolate.

However, I do agree with Trump on one thing: "We can't have someone in the Oval Office who doesn't understand the meaning of the word 'Confidential' or 'Classified'" - Donald Trump, 6th September 2016

Well said, Donnie.

I think he is awesome

@questionWeaver: That's fine, but really the question is why?
Why what?

Why do I like him?

That is simple ... he reflects me .... he is smarter, wiser, pivots better ...but he reflects pragmatism ... which I admire ... he reflects all the policies I like ... and doing a LOT!

@questionWeaver: Why should everybody like Trump? Because he has had the courage to take on the deep state. A deep state which has for all intensive purposes been deemed too big to fail by the scumbags who inhabit the deep state and their pom pom cheerleaders, the useful idiots in the statist media. The residents of the swamp do not like the sucking sound which is coming their way.
@therighttothink50:

Yes!

@questionWeaver: Building a border wall stopped being pragmatic when ladders and tunnels were invented.

I feel that a lot of what you like about him isn't true, and I implore you to think more critically about everything he's done, but in the end if you agree with his policies, then good for you.
@RoboChloe:

Border wall is brilliant ... I could talk endlessly on it ... it is already paid for 10 times over.

As to changing my mind about him ... I would have to stop liking myself first.

And he is doing everything I like ... like he has magic.

First time I slept well in 8 years.

Tip: election is over ... let it rest

@questionWeaver: Paid for by Mexico, right? Trumpo is facing a rude awakening on that front. It'll be higher taxes for the poor that'll pay for the wall, if he ever even builds it (He probably won't).

The election may be over, but if we stop fighting for what we believe in just because the vote is over, then what's the point in fighting at all?
@RoboChloe: but you are not fighting trump ... you are fighting people like me ... and people in 2,800 counties ... 90% of the US, that voted for Trump.

Good luck on that! ... great way to make friends.

As to the wall ... Mexico already paid ... their peso dove ... they have been having to buy dollars from our treasury ... ... giving us a profit of about $3B a week.

In return, Trump gave the Peso relief ... excellent negotiations in my book!

Another free Tip: Urban voted 9-1 against Trump ... ex-urban voted 3-1 for Trump ... to beat Trump in 2020, you need two things ... get rural votes ... and figure out how to overcome the 8 additional electoral votes moving to RED states, due to the population change.

Rural likes religion, NASCAR, guns, does not like the EPA, or ballet, or protests or urban things like sanctuary cities ... will like to know how ya cobble urban and rural values together ... do share!

@questionWeaver: I have the friends I need.

At this point, I don't have much more to say to you. You think that 90% of people voted for Trump, which is a nice alternative fact, but it happens to be one that isn't true. Also, and I'm willing to accept this as an honest mistake, you just claimed that there are about 10 times as many countries as there actually are. There's not much an impiricist can do with someone who doesn't believe in real facts.

Good luck. I'm gonna go and worry about the election that's coming up soon in my country.
The US has about 3100 counties ... Trump won 2800 of them ... biggest political power shift since 1922.

I was just rounding at 90%.

In the US, power and budget is held at the county / state level ... winning 2800 counties was huge.

Hillary won urban centers and university towns ... all the population growth / shift, for 50 years has been away from urban centers ... for most urban centers, they have shrunk ..LA and Miami are exceptions.

Rurally .. Trump is very popular ... probably growing in popularity ... which has made urban focused media irrelevant.

Simply put ... urban values are not rural values.

Around me ... Trump is a rock star.
