i never heard about any religions forcing others to convert tbh and that's not the point my point is that its people against people tormentors and sufferers both are muslims then how is it religious?
@LoneKnight: With 'Islamic Modernism' there are Imams who are teaching that the violent verses are restrained / constrained by historical context. The Mohammed in Mecca was completely different from the Mohammed in Medina. If it was widely believed that the 164 "jihad" verses are restrained by historical context, I truly believe that there would be no mass brutality and barbarism like we see today. There 'would' be some trouble, though, because of the west meddling in the affairs of Islamic states, and the undermining of Islamic states to insure the continued strength of the petrodollar.
@BeautifulSadness: Yes, and some Hadiths. I haven't memorized the Quran, but I know where the friction comes from with the descendants of Abraham. (Ibrahim). It is "attributing a son to the God most high" and "joining companions with Allah" the rest is simply hard feelings about territory and perpetual vengeance.
@BeautifulSadness: I just checked your profile and you are from India.India is Not a Muslim country and ruled by Muslim government like the country I am from .How can you compare them both? I think you are one of these people

@puck61: But Puck...God told Abraham that Issac was the son of promise and of the covenant and not Ishmael......and the land was clearly given to Abraham and his descendants... Abraham, Issac and Jacob who was later named Israel... :)
@DixieChick: Just replace Isaac with Ishmael and you have the Islamic version! It's kind of funny to my heathen side!

@puck61: Well not so funny to the Bible side. We must all choose whom and what we believe but after while we are all going to find out that the Bible was right after all. No offense...you are a free agent to choose whom and what you believe...That is the beauty of freedom of religion! :)

@puck61: And replacing Jesus with Muhammad is dangerous....that kind of makes Jesus a liar...and he is NOT a liar...he is the way the truth and the life....
