From 1960 to 1965, the inflation rate was about 1.17% or so....the rise in the cost of healthcare in that time was 8%. The numbers have varied, but the trend has been the same. The cost of healthcare has been outpacing inflation for decades.
But nobody in Washington has the will to confront the real issue, $$$ says otherwise.
