i think the whole campaign was just one big ego stroke which is why he still holds rallies. notable is the one on his 100th day in office. he knows he accomplished nothing so he has to have another stroking. but he felt he could come in and if he said jump people would say how high? it happens like that in his business empire. it doesn't work like that in government because you don't own the people, they own you. i don't think he knows what to do since he appears not very open to change. business negotiations tactics don't work in government. he wants to be loved and in some ways worshiped. but no president is loved and worshiped. so he is stuck in a mess of his own making.

@TattoosAndPiercings: Was Obama signing executive orders in the first couple of months of his administration? Or was it mostly a last resort, once it became clear that the GOP wasn't going to work with him even on things they also claimed to want ? And did Obama ever claim that his predecessor or any president signed EOs because he was a "weak leader" ?

@TattoosAndPiercings: Honestly, one of Trump's biggest problems is his own big mouth. He rails against things in public and on the record that make him look like the world's biggest hypocrite when he ends up doing them himself.

@TattoosAndPiercings: Yeah, that's another bad habit. If something isn't working out the way he wants, just get rid of it, or block access. He doesn't like what the media says, dismiss it as "fake news" and cherry-pick the sources he likes. If the intelligence community gives him bad news, they're "corrupt". He said the whole system was"rigged"---until he won. The electoral college was "a disaster"---until it helped him. Even after winning the election, he's such a baby about not having won the popular vote he declares voter "fraud" that needs to be "investigated" (sorry, the GOP already launched that investigation back when Obama was reelected and found nothing amiss). Claims Obama wiretapped him with nothing even approaching evidence, and doesn't need it, his crazy followers will still believe any lie he tells. Trump agreed to reveal his tax returns like every president in modern times has done, but hasn't yet; claimed it was because of a "pending audit", which begs the question of why he hasn't produced his 2016 returns. He's certainly been the first to demand others produce records. Why isn't he willing to follow the rules ? Is he a criminal ? Is that what those records would reveal ? 🤔

@bijouxbroussard: imho if you try to hide something there is something you don't people to see. and what he doesn't realize that people's speculation is often worse and more damaging than reality

@bijouxbroussard: Agree with everything there , but specifically on the tax returns ; I cannot see how the FBI can not subpoena them now with all the information they already had going back years with Trump and dirty Russian money , and the new stuff coming to light almost daily now. Surely they have to be not just pertinent but critical to any thorough investigation ?
