How does trickle down economics work?

I read on my favourite Conservative blog that Trump's tax cut will make everyone richer. Like if you give rich people more money then they have more money than everyone else so everyone is rich. I wanna believe this but I'm real confused.

Do these folks go out and be 'job creators' hiring more nannies? I mean what if they just wanna keep the dough or buy a house? Or what if businesses have enough workers? I know Government wastes money and sh*t but I just don't get how wealth is supposed to trickle-down.

Wealth doesn't trickle down. All the evidence shows the rich getting richer and holding ever greater portions of the world's wealth.
@LukeOnTheInternet: What evidence?

In the ages of Kings, the King had 99% of the wealth, some people had a little, and most people had nothing.

Now most people have something.

@LukeOnTheInternet: Greenbare explained the theory and practice already. Trump will double the amount of jobs and that will double the wages because of competition. America will be great again.

Maybe they should have tax-cut the king, so some of his wealth could trickle-down?
You could read Oxfam's research for a start.@Ax17x7: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-01-18/richest-1-now-wealthier-than-the-rest-of-the-world-oxfam-says
@Ax17x7: can you give me the name of one King that had 99% of the wealth and your evidence for such a claim?
@Karlbodge: increasing someone's wages doesn't mean wealth has trickled down to them. The question implies the wealth gap. You would need to look at the pay differential between the owners and the workers.

@LukeOnTheInternet: Look dude, you know jack shit about economics. If there is a big differential because of low taxes then more wealth trickles down. That is why we have more equality and Europe has a class system.
@LukeOnTheInternet: Who are those richest people? What do they do? Own businesses? Employ thousands? Practice philanthropy?

Or are they all hoarders?

@Ax17x7:

Does this mean we are going back to the time of the King?
@Ax17x7: I see you dodged my question and can't name the Kings owning 99% of the wealth. Do you have the answer or not?
