@MasterLee: This may come as a surprise to you, but most humans are ingenuitive enough to overcome a wall. China supposedly built a great one to keep the northern barbarians out. It was about 20 feet thick and 25 feet tall in most places, made of stone brick and protected by the emperor's military. Of course, China was afterward ruled by northern dynasties for centuries, so it didn't work.

Most illegals come in legally and then just over stay. Tunnels are already known to exist. Ladders and ropes are simple tools that have existed for centuries, and won't even be necessary in many places, since Trump has walked back his claim of a 30ft high concrete wall across the entire border and said it will be a combination of wall, fence, and virtual surveillance, which is actually the composition of existing border security already.

So most will pass it legally, most of the rest will cross it in the same manner they already can, some might be inconvenienced by the need for additional tools and effort, and a few who are weak of will or body might actually be stopped. And this doesn't even begin to address drug trafficking, which can be even easier to accomplish since it doesn't actually require moving a human across the border, just the drugs. They already use devices such as drones, catapults, boats, and even submarines to just get the packages to the other side were accomplices (often Americans) pick them up.

So given that most illegal immigrants will still be able to get in, and almost all drugs will continue to as well, there's not much point in building a wall.

@MasterLee: All due respect, he's right. A wall won't due much good against a plane. A better way to spend that money is better training for ICE agents and creating more jobs for veterans who can't get work and good military experience.

@XamadtheFirst: Most of the illegals come from mexico and they sure aren't flying in. I lived on the Texas/mexico border for 17 years. I could look out the hospital windows any day of the week and watch them walk right across the dry riverbed of the Rio Grande. You have no idea just how much they've been ripping you off.

But with that said yes lets do deport white illegal aliens who are felons. Who said we shouldn't. Who said we weren't.
