Who is the best political journalist of this generation?

For me Glenn Greenwald wins hands down. Fearless, independent and with superb analysis.

He is most famous for being the Guardian journalist behind the Edward Snowden revelations. He has also been heavily involved as a critical friend if Wikileaks and recently broke the news of the 'soft coup' of the Brazilian Government to international audiences.

Here he is in the Intercept, with his superb analysis of the Trump airstrike and the forces behind it. Its a long article, but well worth it.

Sure he's a muck raking lunatic, but he has been correct WAY to many times for my liking.
The only reason he hasn't been Breitbarted is that he plays up the lunatic angle so he's not taken too seriously.
