Anyone else ready to see if the good ol USA takes out that disgusting fat ass from North Korea?

I really hope we do. A lot of people are against war because of death, but the truth is one attack will save more people then the number of innocent people who are being tortured and killed daily by there own people. Get rid of the evil bring someone new in and give that country it's life back is how I see it

Because it all worked out so well in Iraq...

You can make a case that Trump's intervention may or may not save lives. It was a minor and symbolic intervention. What is going on in Syria is not just a civil war but power play between regional and international powers who all want their own influence more than they care about Syrian lives. When it comes to interventions, less is usually more. Toppling Assad by force would leave a post-Saddam Iraq situation, but even worse and more complicated.

Getting rid of 'bad-guys' by force and installing our 'good-guys' is a recipe for resentment, chaos and long-term problems. Let them control their own affairs and stay out of it.
I always wondered what ever happened to morals. If a child was on the street being burned alive or tortured would you turn around and pretend you seen nothing, or would you intervene and try and protect it? Maybe americans do step in, but it's only because the rest of the world has forgotten that we are all human. No one deserves to suffer everyday just because a few people want to follow policy. Look at Germany with killing all of the Jews? If people didn't step in to help then how many more lives would have been lost? The out come was good. America is for the freedom but people should also enjoy where they live and not be forced out by fear. No one knows what the outcome will be, but I would rather say our country fought then to say we turned a blind eye! And with this I say good luck to all my solider friends who left this morning to Korea

@DidIHurtYourFeelings: I think its optimistic (to say the least) to assume that Western foreign policy always has good intentions.

If it was about removing dictators, then Saudi or Robert Mugabe would surely be the targets. The history of war (and empire) is the elite of one country wanting more wealth and power. That is as true now as it was in ancient times. Though of course it was sold differently. Citizens of the British Empire were told that their country was spreading Christian values and the rule of law.

Your analogy of protecting the kid doesn't work. The situation in Iraq and Syria is not comparable on any level.
