So....Prime Minister May has officially pulled the pin !

The countdown to Britain leaving the European Union has officially begun.
What do you hope she manages to secure in terms of trade or other deals in the remaining two years before the UK has to officially leave the European Union ?

First, a deal.

Brexiteers have been pushing the idea that no deal is better than a bad deal. Well, in the position we are in we will get a bad deal but no deal is worse.

The deal is likely to safeguard City of London interests and gut other aspects of our economy. Tariffs will hit our firms and other markets can't take the slack. Its bad.

I am not sure that it will be as bad as everyone thinks, Burnley. There will be some initial hardship but I firmly believe that we shall emerge as a stronger entity, and much more agile in our ability to adapt to changing world markets and situations.

I know we are going to have to deal with Germany and France at some point. But if we could work something out with other players in Europe BEFORE having to deal with the two biggest hitters, that might give us an edge.
Does the E:U get to say whether they approve of the deals we make ??

@Picklebobble2: with other EU countries, yes. This is why the EU stifles ingenuity for the sake of collectivism.

@Curiosity: Its in Europe's interests to give us a bad deal because of the nationalist movements across Europe. A bad deal would give them a small hit but it would give us a bigger hit, which is what they want.
