Will Trump's continuing disregard for the truth destroy completely whatever remains of his credibility ?

The conservative-leaning Wall Street Journal has an editorial out today with serious criticisms of President Trump for his “seemingly endless stream of exaggerations, evidence-free accusations, implausible denials and other falsehoods.”

The crux of the editorial concerns the president’s wiretapping claim that has been refuted by a number of intelligence officials and the heads of the House and Senate Intel Committees. Yet, in the words of the Journal, Trump “clings to his assertion like a drunk to an empty gin bottle.”

The editorial board concluded: "Two months into his Presidency, Gallup has Mr. Trump’s approval rating at 39%. No doubt Mr. Trump considers that fake news, but if he doesn’t show more respect for the truth most Americans may conclude he’s a fake President."

Even Murdoch media is beginning to crack. Watch for the next distraction. It has to be a big one.

The Fox anchor Shepard Smith has been particularly outspoken .... once Trump loses them he's toast.
@pezzza: That's just the news end of Fox. Trump voters don't trust anyone who ever worked for CNN. As long as Hannity and O'Reilly keep passing him hints, and trying to cover his back he's more like just warm and starting to mold on the counter, IMO.
