Why does nobody (Republicans included) believe Trump's wiretapping claims ?

Lack of evidence lerhaps. Innoce t until lroven guilty maybe. He is the lresident of the US. If he cannot lroduce hard evidence it probably does not exist and never really happened. He loves to distract everyone to keep the heat off of the things he wants to do and does not want anyone paying attention to. It smells lime a stinky red herring to me.
