Are you liking George W, as a former President?

I am liking him more and more.
I dont agree with many of his policy decisions and his reckless war in Iraq....but I wasn't there, I don't know what he was being told.

But he is being interviewed this week, and the more I see him, the more I like him. I think his work with veterans is admirable, and I'm going to buy his book about the veterans. The profits go to veterans causes.

I am definitely on side with The Democrats, and I hope they rebuild into something other than a 'Let's have a Coronation for Hillary' party, but I do admit, I like the humanity I see in George W. Bush.

For the record, I also like Melania Trump. I think she will be great.
I would have loved to have seen Sanders as President I am Still adjusting to the Donald, but I don't think they all have horns and are evil.

I think there are political and philosophical differences, and there should be.

Nope. Not forgetting at all. It was horrific. It always will be. But I spoke about his humanity, and what I can admire about that. I am not God. I can't judge him, though tomorrow I may rant and rave online about his policies here and there.

But do I want to hate? And never get past that? In the meantime he served in a capacity very few men have. Of course there would be Many instances I am sure he wishes he could redo.

In my life, there are a few I wouldn't mind erasing

@softspokenman: I saw the Matt Lauer interview with both himself and a number of vets. He not only painted them, he came to know each one of them personally.

That is admirable.
It is also admirable their own affection for him. And the fact he has had them, and many other vets to his ranch in Texas. All in all, a good man who had difficult decisions to make in difficult times.
