Are you liking George W, as a former President?

I am liking him more and more.
I dont agree with many of his policy decisions and his reckless war in Iraq....but I wasn't there, I don't know what he was being told.

But he is being interviewed this week, and the more I see him, the more I like him. I think his work with veterans is admirable, and I'm going to buy his book about the veterans. The profits go to veterans causes.

I am definitely on side with The Democrats, and I hope they rebuild into something other than a 'Let's have a Coronation for Hillary' party, but I do admit, I like the humanity I see in George W. Bush.

For the record, I also like Melania Trump. I think she will be great.
I would have loved to have seen Sanders as President I am Still adjusting to the Donald, but I don't think they all have horns and are evil.

I think there are political and philosophical differences, and there should be.

Where were the weapons of mass destruction?

There were actually nerve gases found. Nothing of the sort they expected, but Saddam did kill thousands of his own people by gassing them.

He hadn't harboured Taliban or Al Queda, and thus had nothing to do with 9/11, so the war wasn't on sound or even legal footing from the beginning. The Middle East is in even a bigger mess for it all than before.

But we are here and now. We can neither revisit that, and retry it, and we will never get a redo. So we stand where we are, commit to better, and insist on it.

In the meantime, seeing George W, knowing how he was hated so much, and understanding that hate, I am kind of relieved and pleasantly so, to see what he is doing now, and the good that comes from it.

Sure, if things were different, life would be perfect. Butlife isn't different, and happily ever after is for children's books.

Are we going to carry hate forever? We don't have to forget. We do have to try to forgive. At least I want to try.

@CassandraFemale17: Are you going to carry hate for trump?
CassandraFemale17 · 26-30, F
@MrBrownstone: for 5 years, probably. Lol

But I'm working on it. I would rather not.

I would rather channel those negative energies into positive actions. So he may be the unintended catalyst for my working deliberately and conscientiously against him.

But hey, I'm sure he will be fine without my support. He's done well without me so far!

:)
