I don't particularly approve of Trump trying to play off his failed mission as some great success and dragging the family member of a fallen soldier who he ordered to his death through the muck with him to justify his political goals.
I feel horrible for that woman, and even worse for the SEAL that didn't come home, I just hope that she doesn't catch a bunch of flak for being associated with the man-child-in-chief.

So can I put you down as your ok with their actions? That was what the question was about.
I think she deserved to be recognized and lifted up for her loss. Her husband was given a meritorious promotion posthumously. The president has spoken to her numerous times and I imagine he will continue to comfort the family.
I believe he feels the loss genuinely.
Just my .02

I understand them, without condoning or condemning. I personally don't think I would have been able to stand and applaud during that moment, but I certainly would have been willing to give that widow a hug and personal condolences on a one-on-one basis. But I'm not a politician or a person who knows one that would ever end up in that room. So what I would do in that situation quite literally doesn't matter.

@UndeadPrivateer: Fair enough. Honest answer for sure.
