My beloved Labour Party has massive problems.

What do you think of Corbin then?

@ajoite: Its a good question and I could write a blog peice on that (and maybe I will). Here is the mega short version:

I joined Labour because of Corbyn, I agree with him politically but its very hard to see him succeeding. I never thought he would be PM but I thought he could get the ideas out there to be contested. Unfortunately that hasn't happened either.

There are lots of reasons for it. The media, party division, Brexit splitting the Labour base, historic decline, crisis for social democratic parties in Europe. Corbyn also has to take some of the blame though because there has been no clear strategy and he is just not connecting.

I voted for Corbyn twice and would do so again if there was another coup by the Labour right. However, if he resigned and handed over to a younger and more capable lefty like Clive Lewis or Rebecca Long-Bailey then I wouldn't be against it at this stage.

@Burnley123: I like Corbin too because he is going back to the roots of what Labour stood for, but the likes of Corbin is why we ended up with new labour in the first place, probably won't get elected and labour changed what they stood for in order to get elected and the Conservatives changed who they were and we ended up with beige political parties with not much separating them. Alot who were old Labour when Blair was in was given a non political job to play with, Tony Banks who I met quite a few times and liked was given Minister of sport, if I. had my tin foil hat to hand I would talk about my fear that a few were bumped off. Anyway ! It's a tough one I really can't see Corbin being Prime minister but I hope he sticks around
