Shall we all give Trump a cookie for using his big boy words in his speech ?

Pffft

He did an amazing job. The cupcakes are mostly reacting as they are expected to by now. It would be nice to see them come to their senses, but I don't think it will ever happen for many. Such spoiled children continuously misbehaving and throwing temper tantrums because they didn't get their way. It's beyond pathetic.

Is that what people are calling others with a difference of opinion? Cupcakes ? That's a new one ....and now I'm hungry for cupcakes ....😑
@Chernobylplayground: cupcakes, snowflakes, SJW's, fascists, turds, etc etc. I am not against different opinions, but these virulently anti Trump people are just wrong. They are villains.
🖕 @puck61: 🍰 ❄ 👮 🤴 💩 👽 rock dude !

@puck61: I don't see how ...but that's your opinion...you lose your point when you start with the name calling ...I tend to tune those types of people out
I understand that. I've lost some good friends since Nov 8th of last year. The behavior of the left has been so despicable in my eyes, that I have said despicable things from time to time. They showed their colors again last night when they boo'd and hissed and walked out during President Trump's speech. Unprecedentedly loathsome behavior. The whole 'leftist' mindset is just beyond disgusting to me.

@puck61: it's not just the left ...it's the right too ...it's both sides ... there's a better way ..

All this divisiveness is unsettling
@Chernobylplayground: Can't disagree with that. I'm not unaware of my 'own' immaturity, but I can't shake this feeling of loathing for the whole 'snowflake' mindset. I can't seem to find a strong enough word for the ideology that I see as the 'decomposition' of American society in general. The 'rotting' of the foundation of this country.
@puck61: Maybe when you see your grandchildren working 60/70 hr workweeks in sweat shops for pennies, while he and the others enjoy opulence at the cost of tax money you may change your mind or are YOU one of THEM ?
It seems to me like the 'left' is doubling down on all the behaviors that put Trump in office in the first place. I suppose I should be grateful for that, but like I said, I'd like to see them come to their senses, I miss liberals and democrats. I haven't seen a 'real liberal' in a long time. I don't even know what to call these sacks of insanity that are calling themselves liberals these days.

@puck61: I'm aware of my immaturity too , I know I make my political jokes ,but that's how I deal with things I don't agree with ...rather then calling someone a name ....I don't look to argue with opposing viewpoints...I just look to understand and to gain another perspective too ...with humor on the side ...but I'm aware it can go too far so I try to hold back ...but I think there is sensitivity on both sides ...people can get pissy if they don't like the joke ...either way
@Chernobylplayground: Well, for what it's worth, I apologize. I've always had respect for you. I can't seem to say much of anything without going 'rhetorical', and my talking points are often neutralized by my ad hominem.
SW-User
@puck61: I totally appreciate that ! I apologize if I have at any point offended you as well .. I wish that more people could talk openly about this without losing it ...both the left and the right ... it would be a much better country if we could all do that ... I'm a liberal but I'm open to hearing out different perspectives...I don't have to agree but I think it's good to keep an open mind ...if nothing else but to understand others

@Chernobylplayground: after last night's speech we will see less divisiveness. Interesting how you feel able to judge something you did not observe.
@softspokenman: Hyperbole taken to an extreme.

@Jackjjacksonjr: my question was in jest

@puck61: of what value are the comments of partisans who didn't see the speech?
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
@Chernobylplayground: I got that from the wording 😀
SW-User
@Jackjjacksonjr: again ...it's in jest ...it's your choice to see it as you see it
@puck61: You, Me or Him ?
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
@Chernobylplayground: I hear you. It will be interesting to see what he does going forward. Is the speech a one off or the beginning?
SW-User
@Jackjjacksonjr: it's just that ...a speech ...it doesn't mean anything , they are just words
@Jackjjacksonjr: Well, I think that is one of the many things that some leftists do that irks me. They make their decisions without processing any real information, but I'm trying to be as reasonable as I possibly can. The polarization 'is' a problem, and I have to admit, that my inflamed rants don't contribute to the 'unity' that President Trump spoke of. I'll probably have more of them posted before long though.

@Chernobylplayground: Words the haters don't want to admit were very effective.

@Jackjjacksonjr: in what way ?
