Nixon was impeached not necessarily for the crime but for the cover up.

Trump's administration, thus far, has been sloppy sloppy sloppy. If he did not have the majority in the Senate and House a special prosecutor would already be in place.

LOL I stand corrected.

July 27, 1974, the House of Representatives charges President Richard M. Nixon with the first of three articles of impeachment for obstruction of justice after he refused to release White House tape recordings that contained crucial information regarding the Watergate scandal.

He was charged but he left office before impeachment.
