Pretty new here, was wondering, do you support any political party? Why so?

Why is that? Do you find the political system not representative enough or are you just not too interested in politics?

I'm very interested in politics, but my views are all over the political spectrum depending on the topic.

Something of a "freethinker" then?

I guess so, but I tend to agree more with conservatives. Even though when I take the political compass test it says I'm liberal/libertarian.

Libertarianism is a rather strange combination. To me its redeeming feature is that it is quite anti war because it opposes the military industrial complex that Eisenhower warned of yet fails to thoroughly understand the system that allows for the military industrial complex.

For me it can be summed up as a fiscally conservative ideology fused with social liberalism.

When you say you agree more with conservatives do you mean on a cultural / social level or in terms of economics?

In terms of economics mostly even though I really don't know much about economics I want the government out of our lives as much as possible. Lower taxes, less government spending, less regulation on business.... In terms of social, I'm more liberal but the left still doesn't really represent me in that aspect. I'm all for gay marriage, but I don't think a Christian should be forced to bake a cake for a gay couple. I'm for a faster path to citizenship but against illegal immigration which the left seems to think is okay now. I'm against shutting people down because of their opinions and think the recent name calling and accusations are bs.
