And if the corruption is proven, will his supporters accept it as fair?

It is important to get the truth out, wherever it leads. Trump/Bannon supporters will never accept corruption, even if proven, but I think enough Republicans will. Impeachment is possible, but not for a long, long time, and only if proof is very evident. Even Watergate took several years and much digging to get to the truth. You can bet the Trump/Bannon team is doing everything possible to stop any investigation, as well as leaks.

@Burnley123: Apparently there are taped phone calls and transcripts, so those will be hard to "lose" completely. You can bet that multiple copies have been made and sequestered to inhibit any purge.
