Will the Republican President be impeached by a Republican-controlled Congress? No.
And his supporters will not accept any proof at all as conclusive: in the face of reason, logic, & evidence. They've made that very plain already.

Regarding impeachment : Surely there comes a point when the de facto evidence demands a full and independent investigation though. Your thoughts ?

@pezzza: IOKIYAR. Given the unreasoning opposition they thwarted Obama with, I really don't expect any investigation, while they control Congress, no matter how egregious the offense & evidence is: too many of the Republican leadership have shown they are literally without shame. At best, if the evidence gets too pressing, they'll start generating more and more alternative facts that counteract it: just look at how Climate Change has been handled for an example.
