Labour less popular with working class than Tories and UKIP.

Sad to say I'm not surprised.

Do you see that as a good thing?
thatscottishguy · 26-30, M
Only for indy.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
You want UKIP to do well so more Scots get pissed off lol. For Indy to happen the SNP need to push for it, like now
thatscottishguy · 26-30, M
I don't want them to, I'm just acknowledging it probably doesn't hurt the chances.

Watch out for what you wish for. A lot of democrats wanted Trump to be the republican nominee.

Seriously though it is looking bad for Labour and Jez. I'm depressed.
thatscottishguy · 26-30, M
Again, not wishing for it 😂 do you work for the Express? Not Jezza's fault but it will be made out to be his.

@thatscottishguy: Brexit and the civil war hurt us but also Corbyn has made mistakes.
thatscottishguy · 26-30, M
@Burnley123: He's made mistakes but if we are to put it down to certain people, it's the ones with similar viewpoints as the Scottish Labour that everyone hates now.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@thatscottishguy: Yes but polls don't lie. Labour civil war had most MPs no confidence him. Public look at it and think either Jez is wrong or MPs are wrong. Both can't be right. Corbyn's personal approval ratings are also low. His populist relaunch backfired. Its nah good.
thatscottishguy · 26-30, M
Again though the civil war wasn't down to him. Shows how well the media spins it all.
thatscottishguy · 26-30, M
He did screw up big time on the MP Brexit vote though.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@thatscottishguy: Its true but he's still fucked
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@thatscottishguy: Its tough. I think Labour couldn't oppose article fifty but they should have fought harder.
thatscottishguy · 26-30, M
He could have opposed hard Brexit. If he did he is with most of the left in the country and the people who are happy with his vote won't give him the credit. Now he's in a place where even the ones closer to his way of thinking are criticising him.

@Burnley123: Labours problem with Brexit is they always have been as divided in Europe as the Tories, possibly first different reasons. I think deep down Corbyn possibly wanted out of the EU. It would have been very easy for Labour to support Brexit to fend off UKIP in core support areas, like Stoke and Burnley!
