Does anyone on here believe that the 'Bowling Green Massacre' happened?

And if not, does it not bother you that the POTUS is making things up?

I'm confused. You're saying it didn't happen and you're upset that the president said it didn't happen. Why are you upset?

People are annoyed that individuals in power are stating LIES as if they are FACT. Then, they are blaming the previous administration -- Which is not only irresponsible it's also easily disproved.

If you would like to speak to someone personally connected with Sandy Hook, I'm your gal! My nephew went to the school. It happened.

@peachykeen: thank you! What I heard is that the two who were instrumental in bowling green were from Iraqis and that didn't get covered. Did I miss something?

This is what happened 🙂

In May 2011, two Iraqi refugees were arrested in Kentucky on [c=#1F5E00]terrorism charges,[/c][c=#359E00]see below description[/c] the only two Iraqi refugees ever linked to terror. The FBI found something worrying: fingerprints from one of the arrested refugees, Waad Ramadan Alwan, on a roadside bomb in Iraq.

This suggested there was a very specific flaw in America’s refugee screening process: Databases of fingerprints from Iraqi militants Iraq were not well-integrated into the broader State Department–run refugee admissions process. As a result, the Obama administration initiated a new review of all roughly 57,000 Iraqis refugees who had been recently admitted into the United States.

According to congressional testimony given in September 2011 by then–Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, all of these admitted refugees were “revetted against all of the DHS databases, all of the NCTC [National Counter Terrorism Center] databases and the Department of Defense’s biometric databases.” Going forward, Napolitano explained, new Iraqi refugees who wanted to enter the United States would be subjected to the same scrutiny.

Getting all of this in place was extremely time-consuming and labor-intensive, and the rate of Iraqi refugee entry into the United States slowed dramatically for the six months it took to finish the review but there was never a ban.

Obama also NEVER used the term "Muslim"

There was NEVER a massacre.

Hope this helps ...

[c=#009E4F]Terrorism Charges[/c] -- [c=#1F5E00]Several dozen suspected terrorist bombmakers, including some believed to have targeted American troops, may have mistakenly been allowed to move to the United States as war refugees, according to FBI agents investigating the remnants of roadside bombs recovered from Iraq and Afghanistan.

The discovery in 2009 of two al Qaeda-Iraq terrorists living as refugees in Bowling Green, Kentucky -- who later admitted in court that they'd attacked U.S. soldiers in Iraq -- prompted the bureau to assign hundreds of specialists to an around-the-clock effort aimed at checking its archive of 100,000 improvised explosive devices collected in the war zones, known as IEDs, for other suspected terrorists' fingerprints.[/c]

@peachykeen: just to let you know, I'm going to read every word you sent in a few hours. I appreciate your effort and your maturity. I would love to also discuss, not argue, sandy hook w you either here or pm. I'm very open minded and my problem in a nut shell was that I couldn't find any proof on the Internet. Also the Internet will say Gatorade is toxic and good for you. I'm sick of fake news! I'm sure you can relate.

@abe182: Regarding Sandy Hook, you will not find a lot of information online because you are dealing with minors -- many minors. The laws (in the US) are pretty strict. Anyone distributing information about children (w/o parents consent) are subject to law suits -- especially at Sandy Hook - where there are very wealthy families.

I apologize for the messy post and edits ....
I am not a nightime person 😉

Wow.

This is time worth spent.

I actually thought you wanted to learn something ...
Aren't I the ninny.
abe182 · 46-50, M
@peachykeen: of course I want to learn. I can also have fun. I do know what light humor is and I'm never mean spirited or cruel. If you can't handle humor then the snowflake applies.

Now can we have an adult conversation because I do wish to discuss things without blow back or putting each other in preconceived boxes.

I don't watch TV and so I don't get my news from Fox or CNN. But I do follow politics closely I have since I was a kid. I have shaken hands with Gorbachev and I was with Barbara Bush for an entire day.

I would like to know more about the live coverage of Sandy Hook because I missed it as I don't watch TV. What you said was correct about minors. But I cannot find anything anything about it. Also the massacre in Orlando I really have a hard time with that one too. 50 killed? That's 50 rounds at 100% accuracy. Assuming he used a 15 round magazine that's over six changes. Those numbers are fanciful at best.

So yeah I'm rather skeptical on most things. And before we begin I hope you know the difference between semi automatic and automatic when referring to firearms because it's obvious that the press does not. Therefore I can't trust what they say as legit when a simple Google search would have solved everything.

I thought you were open minded and willing to have a discussion 😞
