I read a bit, and this is one of the most important books I have ever read. I think its essential in terms of understanding the rising nationalist right in America and elsewhere.
It goes deep into the overlapping interests of the tech oligarchs, ethno-nationalism, and the religious right. The right isn't denying climate change any more and it doesn't have a vision for life getting better. It's adaptation to accept that things are getting worse, to accelerate it and make sure that people like you are OK. Whether it's bunkers in New Zealand or on Mars; whether its creating a fortress nation while the rest of the world burns. Whether its preparing for literal end times of Biblical prophecy.
