@Diotrephes My state doesn't have early voting. Which sucks. I've thought for a long time that the whole country should have election week instead of Election Day. I will bet we would increase turnout significantly. .

@MoveAlong I am sure that you are correct. It is tragic that throughout our history as a nation there have always been those who try to deny others their right to vote and very often their other Constitutional rights and freedoms as well.

People don't know how to use the Constitution as a club. If people lose voting rights because of nitwits' actions they should demand that their State lose Representatives.

When the Slave Patrol kills innocent people they should demand that the 5th Amendment and Section 1 of the 14th Amendment be used to prosecute the murdering Slave Patroller. And if the enablers resist the demand then the offended people should publicize how America consistently violates its citizens' human and civil rights.
