The problem with an unwritten constitution like in the UK is it is based on tradition and not law which is very very dangerous if the wrong person comes to power. You would argue it is even why there are so many invasions of your privacy because have no written legal right to privacy.

Not a written one. Britain frankly predates the idea of a constitution.
