My comments:
During my entire career in the USAF when I was deployed or stationed OCONUS in remote assignments I always knew that my family was safe—and that the base near our home always went out of their way to check up on them.
This utter abandonment of the military families in Bahrain is UNCONSCIONABLE and UNFORGIVABLE!
This reflects not only the INCOMPETENCE but also the UTTER DISREGARD OF THE HEALTH & SAFETY OF THOSE DEPENDENTS in Bahrain.
INEXCUSABLE!
This was not a war of retaliation of an attack on our citizens or troops—this was a war launched by a Demented Pseudo POTUS and his Drunkard of a Secretary of Defense under the disguise of “negotiating” with Iran while they launched a sneak attack.
There was all the time in the world to prepare before they struck. There was all the time in the world to perform a Non-combatant Evacuation Operation (NEO) which we practiced all the time in Korea (as do all foreign assignments)—it’s a BASIC ASPECT OF OCONUS ASSIGNMENTS. INCONCEIVABLE!
