‘Performance of toughness’: Hegseth’s choice to livestream the Ft. Hood execution draws backlash

[media=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6o3vKzDJOBs]

President Trump is shifting the blame for record high diesel prices on Ukranian President Zelenskyy, and even said Ukraine needs a new President. Meanwhile, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s plan to livestream the execution of the Ford Hood shooter is drawing fierce bipartisan backlash from even the most staunch conservatives. Former Ambassador to Russia, and MS Now International affairs analyst, Michael McFaul along with retired Lt. General and MS Now military analyst Mark Hertling join The Weekend to discuss.

My comments:

Weakness after weakness! Incompetence squared= DEMENTED Donnie * Kegsbreath

tRUMP trying to shift the blame for his disastrous war in Iran to President Zelenskyy while Paranoid Petey Boy Kegsbreath wants to live stream an execution sure to ignite a terrorist response against our military members and accelerate the terrorists’ recruitment efforts.

Republicans in Congress if you don’t reel in these renegades but bother whining when you get slaughtered at the polls in less than a month!

What future crime seems likely for Hegseth?

DUI/Manslaughter?
Assault (towards romantic partner)
A firearms related crime?
Or something white collar?

For any of the above, few would be surprised.
@trollslayer After midterms he should face an impeachment vote. If the BLUE WAVE is sufficient he could be impeached…

I’d love to see that. Even if impeachment fails, it will be humiliating for him to face a vote. Can you imagine his rage?

It's like tRump & Hegseth think they're competing with ISIS for the sadism vote!?!?

@KunsanVeteran But the truly shocking thing is this is a 'forever war' of America's indefensible creation.

99% of folk won't care of course....so long as it stays 'over there'.
@Picklebobble2 Do you know who will bear the scars of this?

Our own Service men and women just like so many of us bear the scars of Vietnam and Iraq…

@KunsanVeteran Yes.
And then the inevitable gripe of why veterans medical insurance and benefits are so expensive to the economy.

If you want peace, prepare for war
....and the aftermath

The US sure seems determined to shoot itself and it's image in the foot at every turn.
