There is proof that gas prices are higher - in part - because of corporate greed. When the war is over, will they really go down?

Of course, Trump will get the blame but the truth is there for those who know better. The Biden inflation was so bad that prices would never fully recover. Why would they? There was nearly 4 years under Biden where corporations were gouging consumers and government. They knew that they could keep some of the price increases permanently when everyone got accustomed to them over time. Prices never really go down.

The rate of inflation is actually down under Trump. During Biden’s presidency: It reached a high of 9.1% in June 2022 and was about 3% in his final 12 months. It was 1.4% when he took office in January 2021. Even with tariffs, inflation is not anywhere near it was during the peaks under Biden.
