@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow my point with my post and my opinion is that curses are not real and it is stupid to go to a town council about it.
I'm spiritual too so this isn't an athiesr argument, where I differ is that those things could be real but not like how we think or it could not be real at all. I get what you are saying, I know other religions believe in curses. I'm well educated so you're preaching to the choir.
Still, It's dumb and hilarious. What is lightening gods wrath now? Haha.
I still remember at school when the electricity went off during a storm and my entire girls dorm threw themselves on the floor and said a demon is coming a demon is coming and then prayed and spasmed on the floor. All cos the electricity went out.
This wasn't a religious school either and it was the only known incident that happened that year.

@SatanBurger And my point is is going to a city council member LARPing as Marilyn Manson because being a troll makes you feel good emotionally for 5 minutes is counter productive and juvenile.

It is like someone looked at how they could handle this and decided on the option that just creates the most chaos. Who cares if it is mature or alienates people in the community.
No argument that certain sects have some ideas and views that are totally ridiculous to me but I also have the maturity to realize that beyond 5 minutes of feelings provoking and mocking people is not productive.
