I want this out there, LOUD AND CLEAR.. The fundamentals for the US economy are now WORSE than they were is 2011. And this administration isnt even trying to pretend they care. So dont expect any support or bail outs. (Unless you are a Trump Mega donor) A GLOBAL Recession is coming. Its going to be bad in some places and worse in others. And America is going to have much less success in offloading their junk bonds to other nations than they did last time.
So everyone, everywhere, dont take any risks you can avoid. And dont expect a great Christmas in the near future. It just aint happening..😷

@trollslayer when my parents were paying 13% mortgage in 1980’s prices were low. Now prices are high AND mortgage rates are climbing too.My childhood home was bought for 120k in 1981. Adjusted for inflation that would still be under 500k. Nowadays 500k gets a 2 br apt if you’re lucky in an okay neighborhood

@trollslayer Nothing to see here. The economy is fine. Everyone move along. The economy is fine. The best economy in history.

Nothing about the housing market makes sense to me. Long Island is the hottest real estate market in the country rn w homes routinely going for 100k over asking

@whowasthatmaskedman depending on the future govt , capital gains / inheritance tax may be in effect. We have lots of new possible laws here in NY that are already attempting to do just that. What market are you in ?
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@AthrillatheHunt Australia. Capital gains wasnt created until after we built, and my property is grandfathered out of the system because of that. And inheritance on a Primary residence isnt a thing here. (I did my homework a long time ago)😷

@whowasthatmaskedman really happy to hear that for you. It pays to be informed .
