Good News From The White House

The US tech tycoons had lunch and possibly dinner, at the White House and agreed to voluntarily self-impose restrictions to insure their AI is safe.

China is not part of this, and wasn't expected to. Xi was so impressed with the White House helipad, he decided to capitulate.

Meanwhile, Anthropic has been hosting workshops for religious leaders and asking them to evaluate AI as a potential life form. They finish these workshops with wine and dine sessions in the fancy eateries around the Anthropic headquarters.
