Those expecting to see the View this morning got an unpleasant surprise when they tuned in at its starting time only to see trump talking live at the UN General assembly in NY today. So much for the collective ban on reporting for this anti constitution corrupt administration.

@Northwest ABC had it as a Special Report and it only stayed on it for ten minutes. CBS and NBC stayed on scheduled programming and didn't break away. It wasn't that much of a special report then was it.

@Vin53 This was not a Trump thing. The opening speeches of all heads of state for the UN General Assembly, were carried as is by all the networks in the USA and around the world. Iran's President will be addressing the UN General Assembly as well.

This has nothing to do with his war on the media.

I don't know if it was all bad. Trump made a fool of himself as usual. Threatening to annihilate a nation doesn't set well with sane people. Most people who vote are actually sane.

I think they are only boycotting the White House.

There'd not be much point boycotting the UN meetings because those are internationally important, and there are plenty of the world's journalists there anyway.
