Who is still MAGA
Back in 2016, I tried the devil’s advocate approach to understand why someone would vote Trump. And it made sense for some people I know.
2024 is another story. But maybe people truly believed the USA had gone to shit under Joe Biden. Inflation. Housing costs. Price of gas. Foreign policy.
But here we are 2 years later and you would have to be blind (a not-see) to think Joe Biden was the problem. Gas is higher. Inflation is higher. Interest rates are higher. More
Foreign wars. Housing even less affordable. You saps continue to blame illegals, despite that after all Trump’s efforts, the same problems remain.
So I conclude MAGA today must be:
1). Criminals that fear prosecution
2). Fascists.
3). Suckers who believe all the easily disproven lies (such as the Mamdani laughing at the 9/11 ceremony. Btw - where was Trump?)
4) Bigots.
Other than that, I don’t see how voting MAGA is in anyone’s best interest.
