@val70 There was a lot behind the New Deal. Like the revaluation of gold. An incredibly courageous step. One no US politician in the current system would dare consider. But ultimayely is will likely happen. Either bedause the US system is radically changed, so the government doesnt need a mandate from the people. (I hope I dont have to spell that out) Or, because another government launches their gold standard currency that is used for global trade at a set value..(Enter China)
It was that national reset that allowed the rest of the New deal to be funded..And almost luckily for America that a global war came along that hardly touched US Soil. (No. I havent forgotten about Pearl Harbour. But industry and popluation centres were untouched. Something that made America the last man standing foor industry and even agriculture, to the world.)😷
