I saw it a few years ago. I thought it was pretty good.

It was a good movie with a superb performance from Schofield. However, Robert Bolt distorted history as Moore wasn’t the saint he makes him out to be, although he was a man of great principle. We saw the same distortion in another direction in the BBC screening of Hilary Mantel’s Wolf Hall.

@MoSmith Yes, that's a good comparison. Of course, the real characters were found in the middle. I don't think that one needs to think of Moore without the burnings and Cromwell without the intrigues. I never liked Moore's book Utopia and I do like Donald Pleasant somehow better as Cromwell. I think that the last was betrayed lmore by Henry VIII than the former.
