tRUMP is skipping 9/11 Memorial because he’s MAD he can’t give a speech!

Hours after the 9/11 attacks, Trump phoned into local New Jersey TV station WWOR-TV. During the broadcast on September 11, 2001, a news anchor asked Trump if his nearby Financial District property had suffered any damage.

Trump replied that 40 Wall Street "actually was the second-tallest building in downtown Manhattan... and now it's the tallest" because the Twin Towers had fallen.

That's a level of narcissism that's beyond comprehension. Also, the claim is factually false; the 71-story Trump Building at 40 Wall Street was shorter than the structure at 70 Pine Street by 25 feet, meaning it was not the tallest in Lower Manhattan even after the World Trade Center collapsed

Good he isn't going. No one wants him stinking up the place while people are remembering their deceased friends and relatives.

I hope the sycophantic media outlets don't show his speech - at least until well after the solemn ceremony - and the emphasis will be on dignified respect for the families. Of course, 'respect' is another word this self-centred man has no understanding of.

I daresay he won’t be missed. And at least he won’t get the chance to make the anniversary of the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil in modern times—about himself. 🙄
