Trump says US has entered deal with Venezuela to take control of 65 billion barrels of oil reserves
Is Trump talking about the formal agreement signed by Delcy Rodriguez installed as Venezuela's president after the capture of Maduro? Rodríguez’s government in a statement said the deal involves the development of 17 fields with a proven potential of 65 billion barrels. It said the agreement could draw $100 billion in investment into Venezuela's oil industry and yield over $209 billion in taxes for Caracas. She didn't say how much she drew for herself
