US Air Force major arrested and charged for calling for Trump's impeachment.

A U.S. Air Force major who has been arrested twice, once on the steps of the U.S. Capitol, while calling for the impeachment of President Donald Trump is now facing criminal charges.

Maj. Jason Watson, 40, is facing several charges, including three violations of Article 88 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice for alleged “contemptuous” comments about the president.

“Not only is [Trump] a failure as president, he is flagrantly violating the Constitution, breaking the law, engaged in rampant corruption and is killing Americans,” said Watson in the interview. “That is unacceptable to me.”

“He truly believes in everything about our Constitution and what it represents and the oath that he swore,” Chris Mutimer, Watson's lawyer, said. “He stands by the fact that he did this so others wouldn’t have to and to share that to anyone who’s scared and feels alone that they are not alone.”

One American. Just one American with the balls all American men ought to have; especially, those hundreds of thousands of wusses owning guns. Don't tread on me, my ass.

He's probably a War Mongy loyalist to Israel

Strange deduction on your part. The Major is obviously against US involvement in the Iran war instigated by Israel.

People make a fatal mistake whenever they make a threat. It is always best to simply take action.

@sree251 The major violated the UCMJ by expressing his opinion. If he was serious he would have simply taken direct action.

@Diotrephes What direct action are you talking about? He was calling for Trump's impeachment. Congress won't do it.

His crime is calling for Trump's impeachment as an officer in the US military. He cut through the bullshit. As a citizen, I could also cut through the bullshit by marching on Congress and storm the Capitol. I would face the same criminal charges for insurrection meted out to the Jan 6 protestors.

Major Watson is facing criminal charges for insubordination. He may not be shot by a firing squad but he will lose his pension, dishonorably discharged and even jail time.

@Diotrephes Yes, calling on congressional republicans to grow spines, find some trace of integrity, and serve the Constitution they swore they would protect - yes, the gutless traitors would derinitely find that threatening.

One man.

The americans finally found one man with honour and a spine - and they will destroy him for revealing their own shame and cowardice.
