Lawrence: Trump’s ‘lust for vengeance’ could cost Republicans in the House and Senate

[media=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1hJ25d-QnU]

MS NOW’s Lawrence O’Donnell explains how Donald Trump’s “lust for vengeance” is leaving Republicans without a clear economic message heading into the midterms. Lawrence also examines why voters may care more about a candidate’s record and competence than their age - and why Trump’s own behavior has made the age debate even more complicated.

My comments:

I am re-producing one graph which puts the lie to Demented Donnie trying to steal the credit for the recovery of US manufacturing jobs and clearly shows the downward trend since the start of tRUMP misadministration v 2.0:

Businessfolks dislike chaos, they like stability so the can plan. NAFTA provided stability. When tRump replaced NAFTA with his USMCA, that also provided a stable environment for planning.

But when tRump blew up his own USMCA "Who would ever sign a thing like this?" he replaced it with tariff chaos.

tRump hoped tariffs would provide an incentive for businesses to move manufacturing to the US. But the chaos is an equal disincentive. Businesses are still waiting for the dust to settle before they can plan to maybe move manufacturing. And in the mean time, US consumers are paying the tariffs and getting nothing in return except a depressed economy.
