So according to a NYT report from 2024 most of the high level strategic decisions for the war in Ukraine are made from US Army Europe HQ in Wiesbaden, Germany.
Not exactly a huge surprise here. What is wild is the general the command center is named after at Wiesbaden.
It is named after General John Shalikashvili who was the son of a literal Georgian Prince and Countess. Russia is literally why this man was not living in a palace in Tbilisi and living the life of a European royal.
