Mamdani Mandating An ID

If you're a married woman, who registered to vote when she had a different name, you're going to have trouble getting an ID to match your voter roll entry.

Fact: proposed city-owned grocery stores will not require identification, residency proofs, or income verification to shop. They're looking into loyalty program cards as an option. You know what those are, right?

I guess you do need an ID to prove age for alcohol and tobacco purchases, but you don't need to petition a court to prove you got married.
