The thing about propaganda it can be very low effort the people susceptible to it aren't going to question it anyway.
sree251 · 41-45, M
What propaganda?
Bottlerocket · 26-30, MNew
@sree251 the propaganda that has you believing the united states war head stockpile is being disclosed to anyone much less the whole world
sree251 · 41-45, M
@Bottlerocket You've got a point. I did think it was hilarious that a nation's weapon store is public knowledge.
ron122 · 46-50, M
Yeah, now you are a munitions' expert.🤣

You're still lamenting the fall of the Soviet Union, I see.
Along with Putin. ("The collapse of the Soviet Union was the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the 20th century.")
"...put an end to the hegemonic beast..."

@Thinkerbell I don't know why the USSR disintegrated. I am not unhappy that it happened. I am against all hegemony and military alliances. Gangland mentality has no place in an integrated world.

@sree251
The USSR collapsed because of its own internal contradictions. It never became the promised workers' paradise. Whenever they could, people in the Soviet bloc fled to the capitalist West. Only a very few communist zealots or exposed Soviet spies ever went East.
As for military alliances, NATO was absolutely necessary to deter the USSR from doing to Western Europe what it had already done to Eastern Europe.
And yes, it would be nice if all countries could live in peace and sing Kumbaya together, but we are nowhere near that stage yet.

A direct confrontation would be stupid and pointless. Russia is already defeating and dismarming all of NATO in Ukraine. They are defeating them the same way. The west is incapable of fighting a war of attrition.
NATO and the US is already looking at a strategic defeat.
US allies in other regions are already looking towards China and other countries because they see the US is no longer able to protect them and being a US ally just makes them bullet magnets,
The smart play is the let the US empire and the wannabe empire in Europe destory themselves.

@Elessar The leaders of both countries look like literal geniuses compared to Trump and fascist barbie.

So... a country so desperately outmatched militarily that it can't take out a neighbor a fraction of its size and a country that's competing to see whether it collapses from economic, environmental, or population pressures first should take on the US because the US is short one one category of weapon?
This is sounding less like simple derangement and more like Trump Malkavian syndrome. Two and a half years and he'll be out of office, but he'll haunt your nightmares forever, won't he?

Oh please. Why would China and Russia want to attack the US? Trump has ensured that the US is a basket case, with no relevance to the world in which we live.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow OK, we'll leave it there. You're twisting my words to fit your worldview.
I'm done.

@Yulianna A bit much calling others crazy when previously you advocated in war to just kill everyone and let God sort out the innocent.
Yulianna · 26-30, F
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow that's very silly...
i posted a proposition for discussion - you, if i recall, failed to read my post fully and over-reacted...
maybe you don't have the academic background or training to understand the nature of such debate...
don't worry, not everyone is up to speed with these things...

We spend over a trillion on the military every year - what are they buying? I guess tanks in case Russia invades Europe through the Fulda Gap. Nations tend to stick with whatever worked in the last war they won. What we need are cheap drones as the next war will be fought with them.
PicturesOfABetterTomorrow · 41-45, M
@LeopoldBloom Russia doesn't need to invade Europe. Europe has nothing to fight with and already helps Russia by sending everything to Ukraine to be turned into scrap metal. Denmark has already disarmed their entire Artillery this way.🤣
And all the EU war hawks are about to be thrown out of office.

after 4 years of war you really believe russia has MORE weapon power and healthy young soldiers than america?? hundreds of warships that can cross the atlantic using sails because they have virtually NO fuel!! you have NOOOO idea how bad conditions are in russia.
1490wayb · 56-60, M
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow how is it ukraine can hit russia anywhere anytime it wants[media=https://youtu.be/es1oOWJAEOM]
PicturesOfABetterTomorrow · 41-45, M
@1490wayb Delusional cope. Citing Sun media by definition discredits anything here. Their journalism is on par with the National Enquirer. We are talking bottom of the barrel tabloid.
All Zelensky can manage now is to blow up warehouses full of women's cosmetics and post videos mocking terrified civilians.
Zelensky fucked around in the Sea of Azov and for his trouble Ukraine is now a landlocked country completely cut off from the Black Sea killing what is left of the Ukrainian economy.
The last of the fortress cities are falling and from there it is nothing but open ground to the Dneiper River.
Where it actually matters the war is lost. Even General Zaluzhny the former head of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has said as much and that NATO is a joke stuck in the 1940s that will need a decade just to get to half of where the Russian Army is now.

All this mean a is that the stuff we have is no longer beyond it's expiration date. It also will be the stuff that has been determined to really make a difference. We also are re-evaluating who we give this stuff to.
