Congrats Abdul El-Sayed on winning Michigan

Putting this as best comment so people can check out his full list of priorities because some people in the comments are attempting to be hyperbolic about his campaign. As you can see:

He won..................a primary. Early to be calling it a win.

AIPAC is not backing off. AIPAC is no longer doing a service to Israel, or American Jews, It's now a lightning rod.

Bricks will be shat by maga bigots.

They are scared of this change. Was trying to point this out on another post. And they just won't understand.

Change is a bad thing to them.

He was supposed to win by double digits, and he won in a squeaker. That doesn't bode well for the general election and his appeal to moderates if he barely made it just with Democrats. El-Sayed's campaign was basically "my opponent is a Jew-lover" which definitely appeals to progressives, but all of them have voted already. It will be unfortunate if the Democrats don't get a Senate majority when Stevens was leading Rogers in every poll.

The Democratic strategy in 2028 hinges on this election. If El-Sayed wins, progressives can say that it proves their message will work in swing states. If he loses, the establishment Dems will say "I told you so" and progressives can expect to be shut out of every race other than deep blue urban ones.

I'm not familiar with El-Sayed, and have no idea what he stands for, but if his win is causing grief for the orange clown and his stupid supporters, then that's good news as far as I'm concerned. ☺
