I watched the video for a while, having scrolled the screen so I could see little more than the poorly-given sub-titles - but it's so amateurishly made, and wandering from reporting on Ecuador to criticising Trump and back again, that I was lost and gave up!

However, it is important to consider that Ecuador is in a mess, caught between two major drug-growing countries and with increasing gang violence and corruption.

So murders in broad daylight are sadly not surprising.

The real cause of course is all those people in the USA and around Europe who think it clever to take highly addictive, illicit drugs.
